Paul KaterContributor I live in Cuijk, a small town in the east of the Netherlands. Writing is something I have been doing since I can remember, really. At first using pen and paper, and after I got my hands on a typewriter there were many hours of practicing in a day. The stories I wrote then were simple short stories, not very well founded or thought through, and I was my own audience. I have written several short pieces that are based on dreams, experiences in meditations and things I have heard, seen or read. Since several years I have joined a group of amateur writers and have started to write more, and with more pleasure and vigour. Longer stories, co-written stories, and lately also several short stories have emerged from that, and all of those in English. You may be surprised that I mention this, but I have not written a story in Dutch, since my writing became more serious. I am not married, live alone, my work is in the ICT sector and I speak 4 languages rather fluently, and another 4 less fluently. |
